The I COMPETE program is a successful collaborative program offered for youth through the Palatine Opportunity Center (POC). I COMPETE  offers wholesome after-school activities for children including sports, arts, music and field trips.

The Palatine Park District Program Coordinator for Northeast Palatine, runs the program. An average of 60 children participate and an equal or higher number of senior students mentors from Palatine High School volunteer.
